the grass was way too small for reading on my screen, so i switched it to something a bit bigger in font….my eyes are really crappy, what can i say?

OOooOOoo grass…
i figured i’d try out one of these “new” themes since i never liked the first one…besides, maybe the grass will grow the longer i don’t post, who knows…

alrighty…this was from the forums our WoW guild has and i had to share since i am an english graduate and wish we had this assignment in one of my generic english classes. i think i’ll have to do this in a classroom someday…muwahahha
sadly, i don’t get tired of this story, it’s just so damned funny…
theatre etiquette
i hope i spelled that right…/shrug
but this is for all those stupid people who go to movie theatres….
and by stupid, i mean you were excited to watch “last holiday” when it came out in theaters….and you go and buy the popcorn and soda when you watch that movie and waste a good chunk of movie that could have been spent in a better way…sigh
anywho, where i am going with this…joel and i went out for a nice dinner at claim jumper and decided to watch “memoirs of a geisha.” we sat down at our seats, waiting for the movie to start, when this family of 3 sits in the row in front of us…and who knows what they were thinking, but this movie was not for them…not trying to put down the intelligence of this world, but i really mean it…so they have their popcorn and soda, and the father and son decide that they are going to recline their chairs so far back that joel and i can’t sit normal…we basically had to sit sideways to avoid knee damage when they rocked back and forth every 5 minutes…ugh…and of course, that stupid son left the theatre at least 2 times, talked during the movie, and yawned loudly just like his dad towards the end…
oh, and their son….he had to be 18….19 at most…
so, as a reminder to the 2 people who read this blog, if you know people who shouldn’t be watching a movie that was made for people on an intellectual level, tell them to not see it. it will save them, and it will make everybody’s experience at the movies that much more enjoyable….

i’m sure you have all heard about the new laptop apple came out with recently…i’m quite excited for it purely for the video card on that thing….256mb!!! WoW will look “crispy” as joel puts it on that screen…unfortunatley it doesn’t ship until february, but that’s alright, i’m sure i’ll have one in my hands come april or so…

well, i’ve tried to think of something interesting to post here since i haven’t done it in a while, but i realized i’m not in college, so i don’t have crazy and outrageous stories to tell…oh well…
i’m just looking around for another job at the moment…there’s a video game company i’m applying to, so hopefully that will lead somewhere, who knows…but i figure i should have a good chance because i am female and i play video games, isn’t that a good enough reason to hire me? i think it is…
joel and i have been chilling out here….we’re probably making our way up north to san luis obispo this coming weekend, which will be a nice escape from camarillo for a little bit…so make some time for us while we’re up there to hang out!
